George D. Gulick of High Bridge, N.J. and formerly of Blooming Glen, died suddenly Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, N.J. He was 65.
He was the fiancé of Barbara Steingas, of High Bridge, N.J.
Born in Sellersville, and raised in Blooming Glen, he was the son of Susan (Ratzell) Gulick, of Rockhill Community, Sellersville, and the late Gerald H. Gulick. A 1967 graduate of Pennridge High School, he attained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Salem University, Salem, W. Va.
A sales professional, Mr. Gulick was most recently mac employed by Fretz Enterprises, Souderton, for ten years. Previously, he worked for Suburban Propane, Colmar, for five years and the Bosch Company, South Plainfield, N.J.
His interests included animals, photography, nature and meditation. He especially enjoyed ice cream and sweets, but, most of all, he loved his kids.
Surviving with his fiancée and mother are a son, Danny Gulick and his wife, Barbara of Stewartsville, N.J.; a daughter, Amanda Williams and her husband, Thomas of Centennial, Colo.; two grandchildren, Douglas and Ashley; a brother, G. Brent Gulick and his wife, Angela Franco of Rockville, Md.; and a sister, Nancy Detwiler and her husband, Tim of Hilltown.
His funeral services will be mac held at noon Friday, Aug. 8, at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call and remember him from11 a.m. until the service time. Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. mac
